The responsibility of the Programs & Education Committee is to educate the general public as to the social, aesthetic, and economic advantages of historic preservation. The committee recommends and implements strategies and programs for increasing the awareness of the rich history of Asheville and Buncombe County, and the need to preserve our historic sites. The committee shall meet every other month. (Much of the work of PSABC’s committees is done through email communication.)
