Time Traveling Gala

On September 29, 2018, The Preservation Society of Asheville and Buncombe County will host the third annual Time Traveling Gala.  This unique event transports guest through time and through the city, visiting three historic locations with food, drink and entertainment along the way.

Guests have the opportunity to tour historic homes and businesses often not open to the public while learning about their importance in our community by trained docents.  It is more than just a peek inside a private home, it is a peek inside the history of Asheville.

The trip begins in the 1870s at Fernihurst Mansion atop Vernon Hill and then continues on to the 1920s at Mediterranean marvel Chiles House in Kenilworth and founding father inspired New Gunston Hall in Biltmore Forest.  Join us for three parties at three historic locations with a trolley ride to get you there!

Enjoy live music, food by Chef Michael’s Catering and cocktails by The Times at S&W at every location.
